LITTLE THINGS THAT WE SHOULD THANKFUL

i am thankful for...

the teenager, who is not doing dishes but watching TV,
because that the means they are at home, not on the streets.

the taxes that i pay,
because that mean that i am employed.

 the mess to clean after a party,
because that means that i have enough to eat.

for the lawn that need moving, windows that need cleaning,
and gutters that needs fixing,
because that means i have a home.

my shadow that watches my work,
because it mean i am out in the sunshine.

the parking spot that i find at the far,
end of the parking lot,
because that mean that i am capable of walking and that i have been blessed
with transportation

 my huge air conditioning bill,
because that means i am cool even on the hottest day.

the lady behind me singing F key,
because that means that i can hear.

the pile of laundry and ironing,
because that mean i have clothes to wear.

weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day,
because that mean i have capable of work hard.

 the alarm that goes in the early morning hours,
because that means i still alive.

and finally.. for too much notification on FB,
because that mean i have friends who are thinking of me
